Tortuga display cases feature vertical refrigeration on all display surfaces.
The showcases are modular refrigerated cold-temperature, low-temperature, warm-temperature and ambient showcases, suitable for the storage of pastry, chocolate, delicatessen, meat and cheese products thus perfect for use in any design context. Models with internal motor use the eco-friendly gas R290. Tortuga display cabinets can be channeled in aesthetic continuity and offer great customization possibilities, which is why all surface finishes, coatings and glass screen printing can be customized by using Ciam's wide selection of Materials that includes gres, acrylics, engineered stones, natural stones, epoxy powder-coated sheets, sheets with electroplating treatment, brass, wood and ceramic coatings.

Sleek and modern design for superb refrigeration solutions
Tortuga showcases are available in five lengths (900, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 mm), two types of angles (right and left), two depths (625, 800 mm), two heights (1200, 1350 mm).
All surface finishes, coatings, and screen printing of glass can be customized using Ciam's wide selection of Materials including gres, acrylics, engineered stones, natural stones, epoxy powder coated sheets, sheets with electroplating treatment, brass, wood, and ceramic coatings.

In the negative-temperature version, access to the refrigerated compartment is through heated thermal double pane glass doors without a center pillar to facilitate loading operations.
In the Self-Service version, access to the refrigerated compartment is through double-glazed doors with transparent panels for channeling the flow of refrigerated air. The absence of a center upright facilitates loading operations.
The high internal humidity of the JWL version of Tortuga makes it ideal for storing gastronomy and fresh meat. Access to the refrigerated compartment is via full-extension pull-out drawers.
Tortuga display cabinets can be supplied with the Gastronorm set-up, which features a display shelf arranged to accommodate one-unit GN trays. In this case, too, refrigeration is ventilated on all display shelves.
Tortuga showcases can be supplied with either solid or lacquered HPL paneling upon request.
Tortuga showcases can also be supplied in a semi-finished version, when coating is provided by the customer.
Tortuga showcases can also be supplied with drop-in setup to be recessed into the top.
Access to the refrigerated compartment is through double pane glass sliding doors with automatic closing and magnetic stop to facilitate loading operations.
Tortuga Self display cases feature sophisticated thermodynamics that ensure constant temperature on all display surfaces. Forced air circulation takes place through transparent panels integrated with the doors, that canalize its flow over all display surfaces.
Cold-temperature refrigerated display cases are equipped with a high-efficiency ventilation system that ensures high internal humidity, which is ideal for the proper storage of displayed products, especially fresh pastries.
The low temperature refrigerated display cases are ventilated and offer outstanding performance, also thanks in to automatic hot gas defrosting

Refined integrated LED lighting enhances the appeal of displayed products with a standard 3000 K colour temperature. Optional 4000 K and 2700 K versions are available to suit a variety of display environments.
All internal condensing units are hermetic and use the eco-friendly gas R290 with low GWP (3) in compliance with the F-GAS Regulation Reg. 2024/573.
An identification label featuring a QR code is located inside the refrigerator, providing access to downloadable user and maintenance manuals, as well as product-related technical documentation.
Available on request, the Ciam Connect package enables cloud connectivity for remote monitoring and management of a wide range of functions. The service also includes alarm notifications and preventive maintenance tools designed to help avoid faults and downtime.
