2019 marks a pivotal moment in CIAM's journey into the world of contemporary design: For the first time, the company participates in Milan Design Week, choosing Alcova, one of the event's most innovative and experimental settings, as the stage to present its design vision.

The installation, designed by Fabrizio Milesi in the industrial spaces of the former Cova panettone factory, sees a dialogue between some of the most representative solutions of CIAM research and the works of food designer Francesca Sarti, founder of Arabeschi di Latte. In this rigorous and highly evocative setting, CIAM refrigerated display cases house edible sculptures and organic forms, transforming from simple display tools into authentic places for the preservation of life.

Keeping Life represents the beginning of a new journey for CIAM: an opening towards the world of design culture and interdisciplinary experimentation that in the following years will lead the company to an increasingly prominent presence at major international design events. This initial participation will define a distinctive language, where technology, aesthetics, and food culture meet to shape new experiences.
